Publication Guidelines for Authors

Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through REDIUNP's OJS (Open Journal System): http://www.revistas.unp.edu.ar/index.php/rediunp/. All authors must register, with their credentials, on the OJS platform, although only one will act as the corresponding author. No author may submit or have under review two manuscripts simultaneously; a waiting period of four consecutive issues applies.

This means authors retain their rights and anyone is free to share and adapt the published content, provided appropriate credit is given, it is not used for commercial purposes, and derivative works are distributed under the same license. As the Revista Electrónica de Divulgación de STEM is an open, open-access publication, authors must verify that their submission complies with all of the items listed below. Submissions that do not meet the guidelines will be returned to the authors.

  • Works are submitted in Spanish or Portuguese. All articles must include, on a mandatory basis, the title, abstract, and keywords in the original language of the work and in English. If the original language is Portuguese, a Spanish version must also be added.
  • Works must be clear in syntax, spelling, and references; proofreading is the sole responsibility of the author(s).
  • The contribution must be original and unpublished, and not under evaluation by another journal; otherwise, this must be justified under "Comments to the Editor." Works submitted as original in which plagiarism of other publications is detected, in whole or in part, will be rejected. Plagiarism is legally considered a crime. The editorial committee uses review software to prevent this, specifically Plagius – Plagiarism Detector 2.6.11.
  • The identification of the work must include: article title (concise but informative), in Spanish on the first line and then in English, using as many meaningful terms as possible, with a maximum of fifteen (15) words. Titles are the responsibility of both authors and editors; if they do not correctly capture the sense of the work, they may be modified. The full first and last names of each author must be listed in order of precedence (the number of authors must be justified by the topic, its complexity, and its length; the average for the field is three authors).
  • With more than three authors, it is mandatory to substantively justify the team's original contribution, as this will be taken into account in the assessment. Each name must be followed by professional category, institutional affiliation, email address, and ORCID number. The doctoral degree must be indicated where applicable (include Dr. before the name). Registration in ORCID (http://orcid.org) is mandatory.
  • The abstract must be presented in the original language of the work and, on a mandatory basis, in English, with a maximum of 10 lines and 150 words per version, single-spaced and in italics. Three keywords must be included at the end of each abstract, in the language of each version.
  • All contributions must have a beginning, development, and closing. For completed research: Introduction, development of the topic with the necessary headings, theoretical implications, innovation or impact of the study, methodological approaches or didactic applications, technological development, main findings, and conclusions/final considerations. References (bibliographic, web sources, interviews, testimonies).
  • Submission files must be in WORD format (not exceeding 2 MB). For LaTeX, submit the .tex file together with the image files used.
  • All Internet addresses (URLs) in the text must be active and clickable.
  • The text must be 1.5-spaced, in Times New Roman, 12 point, on letter-size paper.
  • Use italics instead of underlining (except for URLs); insert figures and tables within the text, not at the end.
  • Length: minimum 10, maximum 20 pages (exceptions must be justified at the end of the text and will be reviewed by the editors).
  • References: all authors mentioned in the text must appear in the reference list. References follow current APA standards.
  • References must include all books, journal articles, legislation, interviews, testimonies, recordings, and any source not created by the author that was used in writing the article.
  • References are the final section of the article. They must be presented in alphabetical order, and chronologically when there are several works by the same author.
  • Once received, no changes of any kind will be accepted unless reasonably requested by the editorial committee or the academic reviewers.
  • To submit, the author must access the journal's website: http://www.revistas.unp.edu.ar/index.php/rediunp/. A template is available in Word and in LaTeX. Authors must submit their work using the corresponding template; otherwise, it will be returned.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a double-blind peer review. Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors, and authors do not know the identity of the reviewers. Academic peers are selected by the editorial committee based on their expertise in the subject of the article and must have scientific output in the field.

Reference Standards (APA)

The bibliography follows the standards of the American Psychological Association (APA). The example references and templates provided in the Spanish version remain valid and are format examples; they apply identically regardless of the interface language.
